STORY
The Nemesis Company was incorporated in 2006, with the aim of becoming the national hotel management and catering market leader. Now, in advance of the 10th anniversary , it can be said that the then modest expectations have been swiftly exceeded through well conceived business and company expansion strategy.

The Boka Kotorska is the unique bay in the Mediterranean, that is to say it is a distinguished cultural scenery owing to the harmonious symbiosis of natural phenomena and built heritage. Exceptionally favorable and specific natural and weather conditions within the Bay were crucial to populating the area since the early times and to building towns and settlements in a specific manner, ensuring thereby natural and man-made creations in unison. Towns and both smaller and larger settlements located within the Bay region stand for a variety of distinctive units that goes one after another in an almost unbroken row. Each settlement has been acquiring its own urban and cultural features, achieving thereby the unity and continuity of cultural heritage of the whole area.
Kotor is for sure one of the most beautiful Adriatic towns. It is lively and magic all year round. It is located at the foot of Lovcen Mount at the very entrance to the stunning fjord. It attracts tourist from all over the world. As it has been so far, it is for sure that once a visitor to Kotor will be a re-visitor. The Old Town surrounded by town walls is well preserved and, as a world heritage site, it enjoys the UNESCO protection. Between 1420 and 1797, Kotor and its surrounding area were under the rule of the Republic of Venice, so the Venetian influence on the Town architecture is obvious. The Town holds a specific charm given by the fortress climbing high up the Lovcen Mount slopes and by the fortress lights during the night time, which bestow an astounding view and outstanding experience on visitors coming by sea.
The Astoria Hotel’s interior design concept is based on mystic quality of ancient Greek alphabet according to which each letter has its proper name with the unique meaning. The letter meanings are presented on the Restaurant’s walls on the first floor, whereas their English translations are downstairs. Instead of numbers, each room bears a letter of the Greek alphabet, namely Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, Eta, Theta and Iota. Each room is of luxurious and individual design and with carefully selected furniture. The interior design is grounded in the idea of sustainable outside-of-time charm of a palace, while with concurrent adjustments to cosmopolitan life style of a contemporary man, creating the space as sculpture.
The Astoria Boutique Hotel is located within the Trg od brasna (Flour Piazza), in the hearth of Kotor, i.e. in the Palata Buća (the Buća Family Palace) that was constructed in the late 13th century. Originally, the Palace had been constructed as a building of Gothic style; however, the original appearance of the building was lost over time, due to many renovations after destructive earthquakes in 1667 and 1979 respectively. The only part that has been preserved up to date is the window of Gothic style that belongs to the Hotel’s restaurant. The Palace is also listed by UNESCO.
